It’s been a long day, heres Deadmau5’s Lambrojoeleeyolo Puracan for your time.
Spent all of Saturday shooting a show, quickly going through the photodump now but won’t finish because I’m due to go to another show out of town in 7 hours time. Busy event weekends are a love/hate thing, but I don’t mind because of the good people here. :)

Not into any of the things in the picture above (including the driver’s works) except for the (past) Ferrari trolling so here’s a star!:D

Damn, I had to miss the show to be dragged to a cottage. Mind if I ask how it was? I would have loved to have gone.

They opened up the entire floor of the MTCC this year but the extra 30% space spread out the cars and made it feel emptier than it was. Your usual show cars from last year, but a lot of wide-bodied cars were present - Liberty Walks, Rocket Bunnies (debut of S14 V2 kit), and various Varis/Voltex cars. The entire ifest promo car lineup grew double since last year but made it worth a couple rounds on the floor. Still a lot of Hondas/Mazdas this year, but not as many as 2014 since BMW True North had 10% of the floor to themselves. Aside from that, a lot of 90s JDM machinery - a couple of Supras, NSXs, a 900hp AE86, and Skylines amongst others (this MP R34 held it’s own against both a LBW and RB GTR behind it.).
There were a few newly imported dealer cars, but most of the entries present have been to other car meets since April so chances are you’d have seen them already. And when you’ve gotten bored of staring at cars for 3 hours, you can take your chances with some of the models.
Yes, I waited 3 hours to see Dannie.
Also Batman was there.
Aside from it being exhausting, I definitely enjoyed myself. Mind you, I was there with some friends who were working booths so it was a 7 hour day for me.
Note: If you’re unsure about going to the MTCC in Feb for the CIAS - PFAFF just took delivery of a 675LT.

I’ve never been to Importfest, but I have gone to the CIAS every year since I could remember. I’m kind of looking forward to seeing wide-body cars, I find then interesting.
Did you happen to be going to the Hypermeet this weekend?

Yeah the wide-body thing is still very much a trend in the GTA. Nextmod just finished their LB GTR in time for ifest, MS Auto Body has had a LB 458 doing it’s rounds and just debuted the S14 V2 RB kit. The ifest rocketbunny cars from last year are super popular, and they added a RB RC350FS and RCF to the lineup. As of ‘15 there are also a few privately owned RB FRS/BRZs and LB GTRs here and there. Nearly all of them are on air-ride because of the impact such a body has on stance and suspension geometry.
I was there! It was another busy weekend for me, attending consecutive shows over the two days. Hypermeet is always one of my favourite annual meets, and I enjoyed having a chat with a lot of the owners there. Most memorable would probably be chatting up the guy who ran the GMC truck at Targa Newfoundland.
Here’s me collecting my prize from the Alpha MS Forza Tournament.
I’m more or less always wearing a Monstercat shirt at events because they’re colourful and I haven’t seen many in the city. Pretty easy to spot. :)
